UNITED KINGDOM SUBMARINE RESCUE SERVICE

Rumic Limited provide the Royal Navy with the UK Submarine Rescue Service from the Rescue Headquarters in Renfrew, Glasgow.

The Submarine Rescue Assets are on standby to save the lives of the crew of a stricken submarine by rescue, or the supply of Emergency Life Support Stores until rescue can be achieved.

Rumic’s team of experienced engineers manage and maintain the rescue assets at 12 hours notice for mobilisation. Planned maintenance is complemented by regular offshore trials onboard ministry and commercial vessels.

The HQ is located on the Clyde adjacent to Glasgow International Airport and the workshop is well equipped to undertake vehicle refit, repair and maintenance. Rumic engineers complete design modifications and make recommendations on vessels, submersibles and emergency life support systems.
